A chairmanship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the February 21, 2026 councils’ election in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Mr Samuel Joseph, has called on the national secretariat of the party to ensure a level ground for all the aspirants by conducting a free, fair and credible primary election.
Joseph made the call when he declared his intention to contest for the chairman of the AMAC.
He urged the national secretariat of the party to ensure a primary election that will be acceptable for all aspirants.
He promised to prioritise health and education if given the mandate.
Abuja Metro reports that the primary election will be held on June 26.
