Pakistan, June 16 — The Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore has shared its written decision about Imran Khan’s polygraph and photogrammetric test request. The court said it gave Imran Khan a fair chance to prove his innocence. However, he did not take that chance seriously. He refused the polygraph test for the fourth time, according to the court order.
Judge Manzar Ali Gul issued the three-page verdict. He noted that a common accused cannot usually reject such tests. But Imran Khan still refused. The court also said Khan did not help the investigation team. This lack of cooperation is slowing the case.
Although the defense argued that no one can be forced to take a polygraph test, the judge agreed. He said the court cannot force the test. But even then, Khan’s refusal raised serious concerns. It showed a clear unwillingness to cooperate with the investigation.
Moreover, the court warned that no more chances would be given for the test. The judge said the investigation must now continue without his help. He directed the investigators to use technical tools instead. This means the case will move forward in a different way.
In the end, the court blamed Imran Khan for not supporting the process. His refusal has made the investigation harder. Still, the court made it clear that the case will go on. The authorities now plan to complete it using other available methods.
