Pakistan, June 25 — A Youth Conference and Small Business Exhibition was organized at the Arts Council Karachi in collaboration with the National Assembly of Pakistan for Youth and the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs.
The Youth Department, Government of Sindh, and NAP for Youth announced several valuable initiatives for students, including free-of-cost training programs and various facilities.
Sindh’s Provincial Secretary for Sports and Youth, Aleem Lashari, highlighted the efforts of the Sindh Government and the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs. He mentioned that under the directives of Provincial Minister Sardar Muhammad Bux Khan Mahar, new and talented athletes have been discovered through impressive sports competitions this year. New avenues have been opened for the youth through various contests.
Abida Agha, the founder of NAP for Youth, conducted conference sessions along with representatives from various Universities, Colleges, Educational Institutions, and NGOs. The Youth Motivation Session was moderated by Mazhar Rizvi, and notable participants included Director General Public Relations, Information Department, Government of Sindh Dr. Moezuddin Pirzada, Razaq Pardesi, Shahzaib Raees, Dr. Farhan Essa and Daniyal Ghanchi. The Small Business Enterprises Session was moderated by Abida Agha, with participants including Brigadier Karrar, Provincial Assembly Member Asif Musa, Dr. Nasir Mustafa, Marjan Mashhadi, and Javed Verso.
Dr. Farhan Essa, assuring full support for future youth activities, distributed gifts to all participants. Speakers at the event included President of NAP for Youth Agha Shirazi, Additional Secretary for Youth Affairs Asad Ishaq, Deputy Director for Youth Affairs Syed Muhammad Habibullah, Nawazish Ali, Javed Siddiq Mittiwala, Sardar Ahmed Gujar, Faizan Abbas and others. They all praised the initiatives taken for youth development.
During the conference, young participants presented new startup ideas which were appreciated by prominent business figures, who assured them of full support. Prizes worth millions of rupees were announced for some of the participants. Dr. Farhan Essa also announced a PKR 500,000 contribution for a Talent Hunt Program.
