Woodchucks Dominate Lakeshore in 18-8 Victory

WAUSAU, Wisconsin (WSAW) – The Woodchucks’ offensive performance remains strong. Wausau scored 18 runs on Tuesday, defeating Lakeshore 18-8 at Athletic Park.

The Chinooks tallied two runs in both the first and second innings, yet the Chucks responded with runs in each of those frames. The Woodchucks managed to score in seven out of eight innings, including three home runs during the game.

As a result of the victory, Max Soliz established a new team record by hitting his 21st home run of the season. This achievement stands as the highest number of home runs recorded by any player in the Woodchucks’ history.

The Chucks move to 14-3 following their victory. They will host Lakeshore at home again on Wednesday at 6:35 p.m.
