Local officials verified that the victim was a male who suffered burns covering nearly 98% of his body and was transported to a medical facility.
The fire, which started at 19:45 local time on Monday, posed a risk to new residential buildings and led to the evacuation of Soto de Viñuelas and Fuente El Fresno.
