Watch MSU Basketball Stars & Newcomers Clash in Opening Games of Moneyball Pro-Am

HOLT, MI –– The Moneyball Pro-Am returned for year 20 on Tuesday, June 24.

With it, Michigan State University basketball players took the court at Holt High School.

For some Spartans, like big men Jaxon Kohler and Carson Cooper, the six-team league is a familiar stomping grounds to prep for the season ahead.

For others Spartans, it is a proving ground and their first time to perform in-front of a local crowd.

The league is high-scoring and filled with deep threes, massive slam dunks and allows fans to see some exciting matchups.

There are no more than two Spartans on each team, with Nick Sanders being alone on Team Case Credit Union.

Throughout the league’s season each team will face off, making for some interesting matchups.

Kur Teng and Denham Wojcik are paired up on Team SPS.

Coen Carr and Cam Ward are paired up on Team Motorcars.

Trey Fort and Jordan Scott are paired up on Team Snipes.

Scott did not play in the opening games.

Divine Ugochukwu and Jaxon Kohler are paired up on Team Faygo.

Jeremy Fears Jr. and Carson Cooper are paired up on Team Tristar.

Fears Jr. did not play in the opening games.
