Details: At 22:40 on July 23, Russian forces launched an assault on Ukraine using four Iskander-K cruise missiles, 103 Shahed-style attack drones, and various types of decoy drones originating from these locations: Bryansk, Kursk, Shatalovo, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as Chauda and Hvardiiske in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The assault focused on the Odesa, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Cherkasy, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
Initial reports suggest that by 11:30, one Iskander-K cruise missile and 90 unmanned aerial vehicles (Shaheds and other models) were intercepted or neutralized by air defense systems in northern, southern, eastern, and central Ukraine.
The effect of 13 drones and three missiles was noted at 11 sites, with remnants from destroyed airborne equipment landing in six areas.
