U.S. Strikes on Iran Prompt Homeland Security to Brief Governors

The Department of Homeland Security briefed
governors hours after the United States launched attacks against three of Iran’s nuclear sites
.

Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe said all governors were briefed on Sunday by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

“The ongoing Iran conflict is causing a heightened threat environment in the United States — including both cyber attacks and retaliatory violence by extremists,” Kehoe posted on X. “We encourage all Missourians to report suspicious activity to local law enforcement authorities.”

Kehoe said the state has notified law enforcement agencies across the state about the matter.
