President Donald Trump told members of Congressat a gathering on Tuesday to acknowledge the former presidentBarack Obama“betrayed the election,” if the media do not pose them “relevant” questions.
Trump has been criticizing former President Barack Obama after receiving significant media coverage about his connection to a convicted sex trafficker.Jeffrey Epstein.
But keep this in mind: Obama committed fraud in the election, and we have solid, undeniable evidence, and it’s becoming even more apparent,” Trump stated, “because what’s coming in is truly unbelievable.
“You should point out that whenever they ask you an inappropriate question, simply say, ‘Oh, by the way, Obama cheated in the election.’ You’ll see the camera shut off immediately,” Trump added.

Trump showed irritation over the media’s reporting on his connection with Epstein, which gained attention when Trump labeled the Epstein documents a “fraud” following an earlier promise on Tuesday to release them via a post on Truth Social.
“We experienced the most remarkable six months of any president in the history of our nation, and all the fake news is focused on the Jeffrey Epstein scandal,” he wrote.
Trump also suggested on Tuesday that Obama might face legal consequences, following reports that his administration overlooked intelligence community findings indicating Russia was not directly interfering in the 2016 election.
“Regardless of whether it’s correct or not, it’s time to target individuals,” Trump said, bringing up thereport published by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence on Friday, claiming that the Obama administration attempted to link Trump’s 2016 campaign to Russia.
From what I’ve read, and I read almost everything you do, it would be President Obama. He initiated it, and Biden was present with him, along with Comey and Clapper. The entire group was involved,” he said to reporters. “This was treason. It’s every negative term you can think of. They attempted to steal the election. They tried to confuse the election process. They did things that no one has ever even considered.

Patrick Rodenbush, a spokesperson for Obama, described Trump’s statements as “absurd and a feeble effort to divert attention.”
In recognition of the presidency’s role, our office typically does not acknowledge the ongoing absurdity and false information coming from this White House. However, these statements are severe enough to warrant a response,” he stated. “There is nothing in the document released last week that challenges the broadly accepted belief that Russia attempted to impact the 2016 presidential election, although they did not alter any votes. These conclusions were supported in a 2020 report by the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee, which was chaired by Marco Rubio at the time.
