Tributes Flood In for Taylor Rooks

Wishes and congratulations are coming in for long-time sideline reporter and studio host Taylor Rooks.

Rooks, 33, has maintained a low profile regarding her personal life throughout the years. She was previously in a relationship with former NBA player Kendall Marshall and has been associated with other athletes. However, in recent times, the TNT Sports and Amazon Prime correspondent has kept her private life very confidential.

Nevertheless, during Wednesday night, Rooks surprised the athletic community by announcing her marriage. Many sports followers were unaware that she had been in a relationship.

Rooks shared her special day through an Instagram update.

“What a night. This is love 💍,” she wrote.

Wishes and congratulations are flooding in for Rooks on social media, following his recent departure from TNT Sports.

“Congratulations ❤❤,” Kealia, the wife of J.J. Watt, wrote in the comment section.

“TRULY!!! ❤️❤️,” said her Amazon Prime colleague, Kaylee Hartung, on social media.

“Ah, congratulations!!! 🍾 ❤️❤️❤️,” another fan wrote.

“The most enchanting night ever! So grateful to see this kind of love 🤍 here’s to forever, my girl !!” one fan commented.

“🥺🥺🥺 AWWW CONGRATULATIONS TAYYY❤️❤️❤️,” one fan added.

Rooks, who studied at the University of Illinois and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri, has recently stated that she has also departed from TNT Sports.

“CONCLUSION OF A CHAPTER 🏆 After seven amazing, exciting, and transformative years, my journey with TNT Sports and Bleacher Report is coming to a close — where do I even start… Just take a look at all the incredible experiences we shared. The questions. The viral videos. The moments that truly mattered. I cherished reflecting on all the discussions we sparked. The most memorable times of my professional life. Clips that brought joy. Colleagues who became lifelong friends. I entered this position as a 26-year-old woman full of opinions and eager to learn… And the only reason I’m leaving as a more skilled broadcaster is because of every single person I worked with in Atlanta and New York, on set, behind the scenes, on the talent team, in the executive suite, in the editing rooms, and in the trucks,” she wrote.

Thank you for taking a risk on me. For having faith that there was room in sports media for me to conduct meaningful interviews. For never limiting me. For allowing me to develop, make mistakes, explore new opportunities — all while receiving support. To every executive, producer, production assistant, camera operator, makeup artist, editor, and athlete who gave me their time and trust: thank you. Thank you for being part of my journey.@bleacherreportIn the wise words of Ernie Johnson, this is a “get to” job — not a “have to” job. And I am so much better for having had the opportunity to do it alongside all of you. Here’s to the next chapter, which only exists because of the one that came before it ♥️.

It’s evident that this has been a highly dynamic summer for the well-known sports journalist and television host.

We hope she has the greatest success in her marriage and professional life.
