rank among the leading scorers and assist providers in Europe for the 2024-25 season up to this point.
It requires something exceptional to both initiate and complete tasks, and there’s a fascinating blend of familiar faces along with unexpected ones among the players who lead in direct goal contributions across Europe’s premier leagues—the Premier League, Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A, and Ligue 1—for this season thus far.
Here are the top 10 players with the highest total of combined goals and assists in Europe’s main leagues so far this season.
Note: In case two players are equal in terms of goal contributions, we’ve ranked them based on their goals and assists per minute ratio.
10. Raphinha – 27 (18 goals, 9 assists)
The Brazilian wing player has elevated his performance to an entirely new dimension during the 2024-25 season. He has delivered mesmerizing statistics in the Champions League and maintained similar consistency in La Liga.
Given his impressive tally of 27 goal contributions across just 34 matches, it’s clear why he has garnered such widespread praise this season.
9. Michael Olise – 27 (12 goals, 15 assists)
One might have expected transitioning from Crystal Palace to Bayern Munich to require some time for adjustment, but Olise has adapted to top-tier soccer with ease, as though he was born for it.
The French national team player has emerged as one of the key acquisitions this season and stands out among the notable talents under Manager Vincent Kompany at the Bundesliga champions.
In his first Bundesliga season, he has scored ten or more goals, with only Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah recording more assists than him across Europe’s top five leagues.
8. Ousmane Dembele – 27 (21 goals, 6 assists)
It seems as though we’ve been anticipating Dembele’s whole career for him to consistently produce top-tier performances.
Early in 2025, the realization may have set in for the French winger. He has emerged as PSG’s most effective forward as they edge closer to clinching an unprecedented treble with just two finals remaining.
Who had Dembele as an assistant?
Ballon d’Or frontrunner
On their 2025 bingo card? Definitely not us, but we’ve enjoyed being proved incorrect.
7. Alexander Isak – 29 (23 goals, 6 assists)
“He is a world-class talent and the way he took his goals today, he has got that coolness in front of goal, that composure that very few players have,” Eddie Howe told reporters after Isak scored a hat-trick against Ipswich.
When you consider all of his attributes together—how swift and skillful he is—he possesses everything I look for.
The top No. 9 in the Premier League at present? He definitely showcased his prowess with how confidently he scored during the Cup Final against Liverpool.
6. Robert Lewandowski – 29 (27 goals, 2 assists)
Another 25-goal campaign for the seasoned Polish international player.
While there may be few assists listed here, this doesn’t reflect how Lewandowski plays. Provide him with scoring opportunities—which Barcelona excels at doing—and he will consistently come through.
5. Omar Marmoush – 31 (22 goals, 9 assists)
You’re witnessing the potential breakout star of the 2024-25 season. After an impressive beginning with Eintrcht Frankfurt, Manchester City decided to invest approximately £59 million in him.
In only 17 Bundesliga matches, this 25-year-old player managed a goal or assist every 58.2 minutes and appeared as an unrelenting presence in Germany’s top division.
He’s already scored a hat-trick early in his Premier League career. Marmousch appears to be among City’s most impressive players and has played a crucial role in reviving their season.

4. Mateo Retegui – 33 (25 goals, 8 assists)
Atalanta performed exceptionally well with the replacement of their key forward Gianluca Scamacca, who faced a severe ACL tear just before the start of the season. Retegui has potentially been the standout acquisition this term.
Scamacca came back onto the field for only five minutes before enduring yet another setback that has kept him sidelined for the rest of the season. Thankfully for Atalanta, they do not depend on his abilities.
Retegui could very well be the top striker in Serie A. This news would delight football supporters across Italy – could theArgentina-born product of the Boca Juniors youth system be the player to guide the Azzurri to their first World Cup victory since 2014?
3. Kylian Mbappe – 34 (31 goals, 3 assists)
It didn’t take long for Real Madrid’s newest Galáctico to make an appearance here.
Following a tentative beginning to his time at the Bernabeu,Mbappe has gradually quieted those who doubted him.
No player in Real Madrid’s history has netted more goals in their first season than he did. That’s quite an accomplishment.
The French player may not secure the La Liga championship, but he successfully claimed the European Golden Shoe for the very first time in his career.
2. Harry Kane – 35 (26 goals, 9 assists)
Although the England captain did not claim any titles in the previous season, his statistics during his first year at Bayern Munich were extraordinary.
Fortunately, Kane has recently gotten his hands on some silverware after helping Bayern clinch the Bundesliga title with an impressive tally of 26 goals and nine assists across 30 appearances.
1. Mohamed Salah – 47 (29 goals, 18 assists)
After Salah’s chances for winning the Ballon d’Or may have significantly diminished following Liverpool’s exit from the Champions League and their unexpected loss in the Caraboo Cup final against Newcastle, we shouldn’t overlook his exceptional performance throughout this season’s Premier League campaign. This stands out as one of the most impressive individual league seasons in recent times.
His productivity slowed down somewhat toward the end of the season, but his earlier contributions were crucial in securing Liverpool’s 20th championship.
