Looking for a Tokyo summer camp that blends fun, learning and real-world growth in a warm, supportive environment?
For parents raising kids in Tokyo, finding a summer program that offers more than just childcare can be a real challenge. While there are plenty of ways to pass the time, it’s natural to seek out meaningful experiences that encourage learning, growth and joy. That’s why the Tokyo summer camp at Elev8 stands out. It’s a program that truly delivers on all fronts. Here’s what makes Elev8 a top choice for families in Tokyo this summer.
What Does Elev8’s Tokyo Summer Camp Offer?
All of Elev8’s summer camp classes are conducted in English by passionate educators who make learning practical and exciting. They use project-based approaches, so students aren’t just passively absorbing information—they’re actively creating and exploring in ways that help them retain and apply what they learn beyond the camp setting.
In order to foster an environment where students can thrive the most, Elev8 has a maximum five-to-one student-to-teacher ratio. This also ensures personalized attention for each child. As for the summer camp’s modular curriculum, they tailor their learning experience for each student by allowing them to choose up to two of the following focus areas per week:
Programming
This module covers Scratch, Python and hands-on projects designed to build confidence and independence. Whether your child is just starting out or is ready for more advanced coding challenges, they’ll have the opportunity to learn something new! From foundational digital skills to advanced coding, programming will allow your child to think logically and create independently.
Mathematics
Elev8’s math program emphasizes understanding over memorization. Their structured lessons support children in building strong number sense, tackling problem-solving and gaining confidence. The curriculum progresses through six levels based on age levels, covering core topics in a logical, structured way.
English
The English program helps students build confidence in reading, writing, speaking and listening through interactive lessons and practical applications. With structured learning pathways, students develop communication skills that prepare them for academic success and real-world interactions.
Japanese Language & Culture
Designed for non-native Japanese speakers, this program focuses on practical communication for daily life, school and travel. Students progress through levels that develop reading, writing, speaking and listening skills while exploring Japanese traditions, customs and modern culture.
