The snowflake-style kit has made several appearances over the years, including in the 2015/16 third kit and the 2017/18 away kit. Now, for the third time, it returns — this time reimagined with a modern twist for the upcoming season. The new jersey features a clean white base, complemented by what adidas describes as “a modern interpretation of the iconic snowflake graphic in lilac.” Additional details include rich plum accents on the club’s devil crest, the adidas logo, and the brand’s signature three stripes on the shoulders.
The overall look is finished with a classic overlapping v-neck collar, plum-colored shorts, and white socks. This combination creates a striking visual that blends nostalgia with contemporary style.
Juergen Rank, Senior Design Director at adidas, praised the design, calling it “a bold new way to reimagine one of the club’s most iconic graphics.” He added, “The rich purples work in harmony with the white base and metallic detailing, and we’re excited to see it on-pitch and in the stands this season.”
The fan version of the kit will be available for £85, while the authentic on-field version will cost £120. These prices reflect the high demand for such a historically significant piece of merchandise.
Despite the excitement surrounding the new kit, Manchester United faces an uncertain future. The club endured a challenging 2024/25 season, finishing in 15th place — their worst-ever Premier League finish under the leadership of Erik ten Hag and later Ruben Amorim. However, fans remain cautiously optimistic about the coming season, with reports suggesting that Matheus Cunha may soon be joined by Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo.
