Morocco’s weather directorate forecasted continued hot conditions on Tuesday, particularly in the Oriental region, the southeast, and the interior of the southern provinces.
Low clouds and morning fog are expected over the northern and central plains, Saiss, the Mediterranean coast, and the northwestern Sahara. Local thunderstorms with showers and possible hail are likely over the Atlas Mountains, high plateaus, and parts of the Rif, Souss, Saiss, and Mediterranean regions.
The sky will be partly to occasionally cloudy in the southeast and northeastern Sahara. Moderate to strong wind gusts are expected in the Oriental, Atlas, central coast, and southern provinces, potentially causing local dust storms.
Minimum temperatures range from 15°C to 26°C, while maximums will peak at 44°C in Aousserd and 39°C in Errachidia. Cooler temperatures are expected along the coast.
Seas will be calm to slightly rough in the Mediterranean and increasingly rough south of Dakhla.
