However, at the age of 30, she has moved beyond the need to fit into anyone else’s expectations. For years, she shaped herself around what others wanted her to be, the ideal version of a model that would satisfy agents, clients, and casting directors. Now, she focuses on pleasing only one person: herself.
Thalia said that she spent so long learning about herself and trying to figure out what she really wants to do. For so long, she wanted to impress others and be this person for other people to fit into their mould, which is her job. Now, she realizes she just wants to fit into her own mould and be her own person.
Thalia emphasized that she is more than just a “model” and has come to terms with the ups and downs of the modeling world. She stated that the people who don’t want to book her don’t want to book her, and that’s on them, not on her. She is much happier for it.
