Tennessee Air Show Cancels Blue Angels’ Saturday Performance Due to Visibility Concerns

SMYRNA, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Blue Angels canceled their Saturday performance at the Great Tennessee Air Show.

The Great Tennessee Air Show
made the announcement at around 3:20 p.m. Saturday.

Here are instructions on how to watch WSMV4 live on various platforms.

“Unfortunately, due to visibility reasons, the Blue Angels had a safety stand down from their performance today. Safety is the #1 priority. Thank you to the Team for taxing out to the runway and putting in their best effort to put on a show,” the air show said in a post on Facebook.

However, those who had tickets for Saturday’s show are not completely out of luck.

The Great Tennessee Air Show said Saturday attendees can go to Sunday’s show with a complimentary Day Pass.

Saturday’s attendees are being asked to check their emails and texts for a message from the ticketing company for more information and to bring their Saturday ticket for entry to the Sunday show.

The Saturday event did have multiple events on the ground that the crowd got to enjoy before the show’s cancelation.
