A medical check-up after the concert showed that Chen had appendicitis. She was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday and released the next day.
Chen posted on her Instagram Story, saying, “The doctor told me it was merely a minor procedure.” She added, “I spent one night in the hospital and have recuperated nicely since then.”
Chen likewise showed appreciation to the medical staff for their diligent attention and extended thanks to the hospital for delivering a considerate gift basket.
She mentioned that she has already been released from the hospital and her doctor said she can consume whatever she desires.
Chen, at the age of 46, has earned the title of “Queen of Idol Dramas” due to her prominent roles in hit television shows like “The Prince Who Becomes a Frog,” “My Fair Princess,” and “The King of SOP.”
