In the video featuring “the ‘Snooze’ singer,” she is shown engaging with her fans when an unexpected incident occurs: somebody abruptly tosses a bracelet at her, which hits her near her cheek.

Clearly startled, SZA, known as Solána Imani Rowe, jerks back and promptly marches away silently. Her protective detail trails after her.

TikTok users were outraged about the “depressing” and “sinister” event, with several individuals cautioning that “this is partly why artists avoid meet and greet sessions.”

“Wow. That is incredibly sad. I despise that this occurred,” someone commented.

Someone else chimed in, “Why wasn’t that individual simply removed?” They continued, “It’s unfair for everyone else who shells out a lot of money for that meet-and-greet.”

“OMG, she doesn’t do anything to anyone. There’s so much wickedness,” another person commented.

Another user commented, “great job for [SZA]” after she walked offstage, followed by saying, “it just needs one person to spoil things for everybody.”

SZA subsequently tackled the incident in an Instagram Story snippet, informing her 23 million followers that she wasn’t upset, even though her initial response suggested otherwise.

“I recognized that he wasn’t aware he had struck me,” she stated.
