A teacher from Uthai Thani is planning to file an assault report against a Grade 11 student who hit her in the face, as he was upset about not getting a perfect grade on a mid-term exam, as reported by local sources.
An event took place at a private school on August 5, when a student became distressed upon receiving a grade of 18 out of 20. He went to the teacher to inquire why he hadn’t received a full mark.
The instructor mentioned that while his responses were accurate, he failed to demonstrate the steps needed as specified by the question. As a result, he couldn’t receive full credit. She also recommended he consult other educators to find out if they used similar evaluation standards.

After discussing with other educators and getting the same response, the student went back to the classroom and requested her to raise his grade. When she declined, he became upset, kicked a desk, and exited the room.
Approximately 10 minutes later, he came back and insisted that the teacher offer an apology. The teacher replied by asking, “Who is supposed to be apologizing?”
The pupil hesitated for a brief moment before rising and striking her in the face among over 20 classmates.
The assault caused the teacher to have a discolored left eye, swelling on her head, and sore ribs. She needed medical care, submitted a police report on August 8, and is set to provide a statement to the authorities on Tuesday.
The student’s parents have reached out to the teacher to express their apologies. The student is currently suspended and has filed a request to leave the school.
