The Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (STEVTA) celebrated the 78th Independence Day with an event named ‘Maarka-e-Haq’ at its Monotechnic Institute in Federal B. Area, involving students, teachers, and government representatives. Junaid Buland, Special Assistant to the Sindh Chief Minister and Chairperson of STEVTA, was the main guest at the gathering, according to a news release issued on Tuesday. The ceremony began with the national anthem being recited and the flag being raised by Junaid Buland. The campus was adorned with national flags, streamers, and green and white banners, creating a patriotic ambiance. Students performed national songs and delivered speeches, honoring the heroes of the independence struggle and the military. A special prayer was held for the martyrs, national unity, and the development of Pakistan.
