A Vintage Celebration in Binghamton
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – A unique event is set to take place in the heart of downtown Binghamton as a vintage-focused secondhand store prepares for its first-ever vintage and makers market. The event, hosted by Stellar Human, promises to bring together a variety of vendors and offer an exciting experience for locals and visitors alike.
Stellar Human, known for its curated selection of vintage clothing and accessories, is organizing the Stellar Flea vintage and makers market. This special occasion will feature more than twenty vendors, each offering their own distinct style and niche within the world of vintage fashion. From retro denim to classic accessories, attendees can expect a wide range of items that reflect the charm and character of bygone eras.
In addition to the shopping experience, the event will also include live entertainment. A DJ will be on hand to keep the energy high throughout the afternoon, creating a vibrant atmosphere that complements the eclectic mix of goods available. LaRue Simmons, the owner and operator of Stellar Human, expressed her excitement about the event, stating that it will be significantly larger than any previous gatherings the store has hosted.
“We did something similar before in our previous location, but on a much smaller scale,” Simmons said. “To be able to host this event in the courtyard area right in the heart of downtown Binghamton is going to be something very special. I don’t think anything like this has really happened here on such a large scale before. So, I’m really excited about it.”
The market will be open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Metrocenter Courtyard. This location provides a convenient and accessible space for attendees to explore the various vendors and enjoy the festivities.
Beyond the flea market, Stellar Human continues to offer other events that celebrate music and culture. Every Monday, the store hosts Stellar Records vinyl nights, where customers can enjoy live music and browse through a collection of vinyl records. Simmons emphasized that the event is not only about the products but also about the experience.
