STAUNTON, Va. (WHSV) – At King’s Daughters Community Health and Rehab Center, Gracie Virginia Flint celebrated her 101st birthday Friday.
Flint was joined by fellow residents at the center and her daughter Janice Michael, who said her mom is as tough as mothers come after raising nine children. Michael said she feels lucky to have her mother around and that this won’t be the last birthday party for her.

Michael added that despite her mother being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease three years ago, she still has her sweet and kind heart.
