Srilanka, June 13 — As tensions escalate between Iran and Israel, SriLankan Airlines has announced adjustments to its European flight routes due to the closure of Iranian airspace.
Head of Corporate Communications, Deepal Perera, stated that flight UL-504 from London to Katunayake was rerouted to Doha, Qatar, for refueling after taking an alternate path. Originally expected to land at 12:45 PM on June 13, the flight is now scheduled to arrive at 6:30 PM.

Additionally, flight UL-501, which departed Katunayake for Paris on the same day, made a stop at Dubai International Airport to refuel before continuing on an alternate route to its final destination.
These changes come as several European-bound flights are being diverted from their usual paths to ensure passenger safety amidst rising geopolitical tensions.
