I mean, it shows that this is a long conversation. However, what we don’t know is the content of the discussion, as earlier today, her lawyer told reporters he wouldn’t comment on what she provided or what she was questioned about.
Uncertain issues still exist, Reid stated.
What, if anything, is the administration prepared to provide her? And what potential value could she still possess that she hasn’t already revealed while dealing with a 20-year prison term? Furthermore, even if she does have something to present to the government, why should her statements be trusted? This individual is a convicted sex trafficker, someone who has previously faced significant credibility challenges. Any effort to negotiate with her is dubious and could lead to backlash from victims.
Nevertheless, she mentioned, “The reality that it will extend into a second day, we’re only just discovering, that’s significant.”
