The duo received several nominations, with Benson being shortlisted for five awards and Shaboozey for seven. As first-time nominees, they both competed for the New Artist of the Year award, but it ultimately went to Gracie Abrams, who did not show up at the ceremony.
The two fashionable crooners sported patterned ensembles; Benson opted for a striking 1970s-style purple suit featuring wide-legged trousers and sparkling embellishments, while Shaboozey showcased Western flair in a bespoke Etro checkered outfit complete with chaps and a leather waistcoat decorated with rhinestones.
Sadly, neither of the stars received an award despite the fan-voted accolades being distributed. Beyoncé’s album “Cowboy Carter,” featuring Shaboozey, took home the win forFavorite Country Album.
Billie Eilish dominated the event, securing five awards including Artist of the Year. Despite her absence at the ceremony, she received her honors through a recorded message. Additionally, the Grammy winner claimed victories in categories such as Favorite Touring Artist, Favorite Female Pop Artist, Album of the Year, and Favorite Pop Album with Hit Me Hard and Soft, along withFavorite Pop Song and Song of the Year for Birds of a Feather.
