Pakistan, June 21 — The 58th Special Meeting of the academic council of Sindh Agriculture University (SAU), Tandojam was held at the University’s Senate Hall, chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal.
The meeting focused on a single-item agenda pertaining to the approval and recommendation of successful graduates and postgraduates for the academic year 2023 and calendar year 2025. The SAU spokesperson informed that the approved list includes students from all five faculties of SAU as well as from affiliated institutes including the Institute of Food Sciences and Technology (IFST), Information Technology Centre (ITC), Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Agricultural College Dokri, SAU Sub-Campus Umerkot and the Khairpur College of Agricultural and Management Sciences (KCAMS) Khairpur Mirs. The Council also approved merit positions and academic medals to recognize high-achieving students for their outstanding academic performance.
Additionally, the Council reviewed a special agenda item concerning the approval of degree and transcript formats for the Diploma in Livestock Program offered by SAU’s Sub-Campus in Umerkot. Speaking on the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal stated “The success of our students is the foundation of the university’s growth. We are committed to ensure quality education and a transparent academic system through effective academic and administrative policies.”
The meeting was attended by all members of the council including faculty deans, heads of academic departments, administrative officials related to student affairs and faculty representatives.
