Ongoing Conflict Intensifies Across Multiple Fronts
Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to demonstrate remarkable resilience as they face intense enemy offensives across various fronts. The most significant clashes are reported in the Pokrovsk and Lyman directions, where over 130 combat engagements were recorded within a single day. This has been accompanied by a record number of drone attacks, highlighting the evolving nature of modern warfare.
As of 10:00 p.m. Kyiv time on July 7, 2025, operational reports confirm that fighting is ongoing along the entire front line. In the past 24 hours alone, 137 combat engagements have taken place, with Ukrainian defenders successfully repelling numerous assaults. Despite the overwhelming pressure, Ukrainian forces remain steadfast, inflicting heavy losses on the enemy and disrupting their offensive strategies.
Key Areas of Combat
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Directions
In this region, there were eight combat clashes involving Russian forces. The enemy launched six airstrikes, dropping 11 guided bombs, and conducted 286 shelling attacks, including three using multiple launch rocket systems.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
Russian forces launched 16 attacks in the areas of Vovchansk, Zelene, Ambarne, Krasne Pershe, Kamianka, and towards Kutkivka. These assaults targeted key locations, but Ukrainian forces managed to repel all attempts.
Kupiansk Direction
Two assaults were attempted in the areas of Holubivka and Zahryzove. Although the enemy made repeated efforts, these were successfully countered by Ukrainian defenders.
Lyman Direction
Ukrainian defense forces repelled 27 assaults near Novyi Myr, Ridkodub, Zelena Dolyna, Torske, the Serebrianske forestry, as well as in the directions of Serebrianka, Olhivka, and Hryhorivka. An additional six engagements are still ongoing in this area.
Siversk Direction
Three attacks were launched in the areas of Hryhorivka and Viyimka. All of these were effectively repelled by Ukrainian forces.
Kramatorsk Direction
Five attacks were carried out near Mykolaivka, Markove, Predtechyne, and Bila Hora. Each assault was met with strong resistance, resulting in the enemy’s failure to make any progress.
Toretsk Direction
Three combat clashes occurred as the enemy attempted to storm positions near Dyliivka. Ukrainian forces managed to hold their ground, preventing further advances.
Pokrovsk Direction
This remains one of the most active areas of conflict, with 46 attacks recorded in the areas of Popov Yar, Razine, Myrolyubivka, Novoekonomichne, Lysivka, Shevchenko, Novoukrainka, Zvirove, Udachne, Novosergiivka, Kotliarivka, Horikhove, and Oleksiivka. Preliminary data indicates the neutralization of 209 Russian soldiers, with 78 confirmed dead. Additional losses include the destruction of 1 vehicle, 10 motorcycles, 2 quad bikes, 2 artillery systems, 19 drones, and critical infrastructure such as the Murom-M observation station, 2 satellite terminals, and 3 drone control antennas. Two vehicles, 1 motorcycle, and 4 artillery systems were also damaged.
Novopavlivka Direction
Seventeen attacks were repelled near Piddubne, Fedorivka, Voskresenka, Yalta, Shevchenko, Novosilka, Vilne Pole, and Novopil. Five combat engagements are currently ongoing in this area.
Huliaipole Direction
Two enemy assaults near Malynivka were successfully repelled by Ukrainian forces.
Orikhiv Direction
Four attacks were repelled near Kamianske and towards Mala Tokmachka. These efforts prevented the enemy from making any significant gains in this region.
Impact on Civilian Infrastructure
In addition to the military operations, Russian forces targeted critical infrastructure in the Sumy region on the evening of July 7. This attack left some residents without electricity, underscoring the broader impact of the conflict on civilian life.
Earlier on the same day, a drone attack on Kharkiv resulted in 82 injuries. These incidents highlight the increasing use of aerial attacks against both military and civilian targets, raising concerns about the safety of non-combatants.
