According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the enemy attempted to break through the defensive lines in the Novopavlivka sector of the front 22 times in the past 24 hours. A total of 133 combat engagements were recorded in the past day, including 39 in the Pokrovsk sector.
On June 9, Major Viktor Trehubov, Khortytsia Operational and Strategic Troop Grouping’s spokesperson said that the
enemy was trying to advance on the Pokrovsk-Kostyantynivka highway to the east of Pokrovsk
in an attempt to bypass the city, which is crucial for the Ukrainian defense in Donetsk Oblast.
