DAYTON, Ohio (

) – The Greene County Engineer’s Office said the Feedwire Road Widening project will begin on Monday, June 30.
It said the Kelchner Company, on behalf of R.J. Real Estate Properties (LLC), will make improvements to Feedwire Road. This is because the upcoming Feedwire Farm Development, between Roger Scott Drive and the Bellbrook Middle School entrance.
This construction project is projected to run until Aug. 8, 2025. The office notes this is if weather and equipment permit.
The work done will include the following:
- Road widening for turn lanes.
- Milling/resurfacing of roadway.
- Construction of a new shared-use path along the North side of the road.
RJ Real Estate Properties, LLC is responsible for both the construction and the cost. Construction hours will be 7 a.m. and 5:30 pm, on Mondays through Saturdays.
“Travelers can expect delays and we encourage you to use alternative routes,” wrote the office. “When traveling through these areas, we ask that you please slow down and use caution, as there are unmarked no-passing zones.”
It said it apologizes for any inconvenience this project may cause.
