One restaurant was closed due to a roach infestation and another failed inspection in the latest round of Arlington city health inspections, according to the inspection report.
The report compiled by the Star-Telegram includes data from June 8-21 and 160 inspections.
Arlington’s health inspections function on a 100-point system: a score of 100 is considered perfect and a score of 70 is considered extremely poor.
Dickey’s Barbecue
, located at 3811 South Cooper St., had a score of 78. The restaurant was closed due to a roach infestation and the use of a restricted pesticide, city officials told the Star-Telegram.
Kpot Korean BBQ & Hot Pot
, located at 1255 West Interstate 20, had a score of 58. The restaurant was closed for multiple violations, including failing to maintain proper food holding temperatures, poor employee hygiene and improper storage of food products, city officials said.
