I’m sure there are dogs out there who absolutely detest the idea of table food, but at this point in my life, I’ve never met one. I am not even in the habit of handing over food to my dog while I’m cooking, but that has never once stopped her from setting up camp at my feet, hoping today will be the day that everything changes.
I have a feeling that the sweet
Pit Bull
in the TikTok video below might be a lot like her, because as soon as he realized that Mom was cooking burgers, he immediately entered pterodactyl mode.
I can’t explain what that means in words, though — you’re just going to have to watch the video below and see for yourself (and you will be very glad you did).
In the footage that dog mom Brooke Walters shared on Monday, June 23, we can see her dog Gunnar go from resting on the carpet to making the cutest dinosaur sounds I’ve ever heard… all in the name of a tasty snack.
No word on whether or not she ended up sharing her burgers with Gunnar, but I think we can all agree that he absolutely deserved one.
Who could
really
resist a face like that, though? He’s adorable!

The good news? If you have a dog who goes wild for burgers the way that Gunnar does, they’re actually not a bad treat to offer your pup, especially if you take care to make sure their patty is made from plain ground beef.
According to the American Kennel Club (AKC), you can feel totally safe offering up a plain, unseasoned, totally cooked burger to your dog (keeping in mind that
moderation is best
when it comes to treats like this, of course).
They will be sure to thank you for the extra helping of tasty protein, but I have a feeling no dog could ever make quite the same sound that Gunnar did when he smelled those burgers cooking in the kitchen.
