Purdue Football Secures Commitment from Top Miami Receiver for 2026 Class

Purdue football
used an official visit this weekend to add another potential playmaker to its 2026 class.

Miami Central receiver Brandon Kinsey
announced his commitment to the
Boilermakers
on Saturday. While the 6-foot, 175-pound prospect does not have a rating in the On3 industry rankings, he is listed as a thee-star by some outlets.

Kinsey’s diverse offer list included everything from FCS programs to regular power conference bowl contenders. Others reported to have offered included Auburn, Louisville, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and West Virginia.

This weekend’s official visit, though was enough to land Kinsey’s pledge. He became the second known commit of the day, joining
East St. Louis offensive tackle Terrell Berryhill Jr
.

According to 247Sports, Kinsey totaled 922 yards and 11 touchdowns on 45 receptions last season.

Kinsey is the second receiver commit
in the class
so far, joining Sarasota (Florida) Cardinal Mooney’s Kymistrii Young.
