Pet of the Week is a regular feature seeking homes for dogs and cats at the Beaver County Humane Society.
Hello! I’m Roscoe.
I’m 1 year old, weigh 56 pounds and have been at the shelter since October. I am a special little guy — a pocket-sized pittie. My big, beautiful eyes will capture your heart, and my gentle soul will make me your friend for life.
I tend to be a little nervous about the world around me. I would do best in a home with older teens and adults who can help me understand my environment, a family who has owned dogs before (even better if they’ve owned nervous nellies like me!) I am snuggly and super affectionate.
I love to go on a great walk and explore. If I’m not out on an adventure sniffing leaves, I’m in treat heaven, sampling treats to my heart’s content.
I’m a loving fella looking for a forever home, could it be with you? Come in today and find out!
Here’s what a staff member has to say about Roscoe:
“Roscoe is my bestie at the shelter! He’s had such a journey! When I first met him, he was so sad and scared. He had no clue where he was! I spent time with him and ensured he got his favorite treats, extra toys, and lots of attention. Now, he’s a pretty confident dog! He’s looking for someone willing to give him extra time. If you do, he will become your best friend!”
