As the summer season kicks into high gear, Fort Worth is buzzing with a variety of events that cater to food lovers, wellness enthusiasts, and those looking to support local causes. From charity fundraisers to cultural festivals, there’s something for everyone this week.
Supporting Flood Relief Efforts
This week, several Fort Worth restaurants are stepping up to support the Texas Hill Country flood relief efforts. La Bistro Italian Grill in Hurst is hosting a fundraiser from now until Thursday, donating 100% of all sales to families affected by the floods. The restaurant, which opens daily at 5 p.m., encourages groups of four or more to call ahead at 817-281-9333. Meanwhile, Jon Bonnell’s restaurant group, including Jon’s Grille, Buffalo Bros, Bonnell’s Fine Texas Cuisine, and Waters, is contributing 10% of all sales to the cause through Friday. Funds will be directed toward essential services such as counseling and feeding first responders.
