The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is awaiting a formal response from Cricket West Indies (CWI) on its proposal to convert the upcoming ODI series into T20 Internationals during Pakistan’s tour of the Caribbean. Under the current schedule, Pakistan is set to play three T20Is and three ODIs, but the PCB has suggested replacing the 50-over matches with additional T20Is to better prepare both teams for the 2025 ACC Men’s Asia Cup and the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup, both of which are in the T20 format. If the proposal is accepted, the T20I series could be expanded to five or even six matches, with the first game tentatively planned for July 31. However, if the original schedule stands, the ODIs will be played on August 8, 10, and 12 at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad. An official announcement is expected soon. Meanwhile, Pakistan is also gearing up for a three-match T20I series against Bangladesh later next month.
