The principal of the school, Kusumlata Pandey, is now under scrutiny for orchestrating the entire event. She is accused of instructing the students to act as if the school had been shut down and encouraging their parents to participate in the emotional display. The motive behind this deception appears to be an attempt to generate public sympathy and pressure the authorities into taking action, possibly to highlight the challenges faced by small schools with fewer than 50 students.

As a result of her actions, the principal has been suspended. Additionally, the Block Education Officer has also faced disciplinary action for failing to ensure that the school was open on the day of the incident. An Information Officer, Prabhakar Mani Tripathi, condemned the misuse of government posts for spreading false information. He emphasized that public servants are expected to carry out government schemes in good faith, without misleading the public for selfish reasons. The authorities have now launched an investigation into the role of the parents involved in the incident, and further action will be taken against anyone found guilty of participating in the staged protest.
