Officers with the Atlanta Police Department responded to an incident on Thursday evening in which several individuals were shot, resulting in one fatality.
The incident took place on the 200 block of Oak Drive in southeast Atlanta. Law enforcement officials think this shooting is linked to another one that occurred a few minutes earlier on Mount Zion Road.
Currently, we are aware that one individual was declared deceased at the location on Oak Drive. Authorities have not yet confirmed whether any injuries occurred on Mount Zion Road.
