Some of the scariest risks our kids face are the ones parents don’t know about until it’s too late. One of those is sextortion, where a scammer typically convinces their victims to send them compromising pictures or videos and then uses those to blackmail them.
Sextortion is something that can target any age, but teenagers are often the ones victimized. And we are seeing a massive increase in teenage boys being targeted.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has received extra funding to beef up its Internet Crimes Against Children Unit. The FBI says the cases of sextortion are on the rise in Oklahoma and across the country.
