A Nation-Shaping Initiative Concludes with a Grand Finale
The National Youth Mentorship Summit 2025, an initiative aimed at shaping the future of the nation, has been running since June 21 and is set to reach its peak on July 12 at the University of Ghana Business School in Legon. This event represents the culmination of weeks filled with meaningful mentorship, transformative discussions, and strategic empowerment efforts designed to unlock the potential of Ghana’s emerging leaders and entrepreneurs.
The summit is hosted by Albert Prempeh Kusi, founder of the Leadership Empowerment Club (now LEC Group) and Head of Agency Development, Recruitment and Training. His dynamic leadership and dedication to youth development have made him a key figure in initiatives such as the Success Africa Summit and the National Youth Mentorship Summit. This year’s event has attracted hundreds of passionate young people from all corners of the country, showcasing the growing interest in personal and professional growth.
The success of this year’s summit has been made possible through strong support from corporate giants like GlicoLife, MTN, GCB Bank, Bel Aqua, Max TV, and other committed partners. These organizations have not only provided financial backing but also played a crucial role in bridging the gap between youthful energy and real-world opportunities. As a result, the summit has evolved beyond a mere program into a national movement that is reshaping the landscape of youth development in Ghana.
As the event approaches its final day, the stage is set for a powerful celebration of vision, resilience, and potential. The grand finale will feature a range of activities, including inspiring keynote addresses, live testimonials from mentees, and a showcase of youth-led business ideas. Additionally, there will be recognitions for outstanding contributions to youth empowerment, highlighting the impact of this initiative on the lives of participants.
Over the past few weeks, attendees have engaged in a series of workshops, strategic mentorship pairings, and skill-building forums. For many, the summit has been more than just an event—it has served as a catalyst for discovering purpose, gaining clarity in entrepreneurial endeavors, and activating leadership skills. The experience has left a lasting impression on participants, many of whom have found new direction and confidence in their personal and professional goals.
Mr. Kusi emphasized the importance of continued support from various sectors, calling on corporate institutions, educational leaders, development agencies, faith-based organizations, and the media to join in this mission. He stated that the goal is to raise a generation of bold, ethical, and enterprising young Ghanaians who are ready to lead Africa into the future.
The grand finale of the National Youth Mentorship Summit 2025 will not mark the end of this journey but rather the beginning of a new chapter for hundreds of young dreamers whose lives have been transformed through this initiative. It is a testament to the power of mentorship, collaboration, and shared vision in shaping a brighter future for the youth of Ghana.
