AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Officials with the National Weather Service report that its Amarillo weather radio station is currently offline for the evening.
The NWS stated that they are aware of the issue and encourage residents to tune into local media for weather warning information.
The NWS released the following statement via Facebook post:
Attention Weather Radio users: The station broadcasting out of Amarillo is currently offline. We are aware of this and apologize for this inconvenience. It will be a good idea for listeners to tune into local media or have other ways to get warning information for this evening.
