“Kenya’s corporate world needs such innovating and young mind…, their digital fluency and your refusal to play by tired rules. I want to challenge Gen Zs not to expect space to be handed to them. They must take it,” said Thuranira.

Thuranira noted that the country’s corporate environment is far more open and ripe for reinvention compared to a decade ago.

“The landscape is changing, particularly in traditional conservative sectors such as real estate. The sector is not just about bricks and mortar anymore but currently built on data, user experience, digital access, sustainability, and storytelling,” he said.

The CEO challenged young people not to break into established boardrooms but come up with ideas to build their own startups fintech to agriculture and the creative economy.

“Innovation is not a right but a responsibility. The table is not a free buffet. It is a potluck. Bring something of value to it. Kenya’s future does not belong to those with the loudest slogans, but to those with the most sustainable solutions,” he urged.
