The government has launched a new recruitment drive targeting local youths for 2,000 job opportunities in Dubai.
Labour Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua said the drive will run for a week starting Monday, May 26.
It will cover Kilifi, Mombasa, and Kwale counties.
“The Ministry of Labour will be on the ground to ensure fairness and transparency,” Mutua said on X.
Available jobs include motorcycle delivery riders, construction helpers, and gardeners.
Monthly salaries will range from Sh31,000 to Sh120,000. All wages are tax-free.
Successful candidates will also get medical insurance, accommodation, and in some cases, free meals.
Job categories and salary ranges are as follows:
Motorcycle delivery riders: Sh80,000 to Sh120,000,
construction helpers: Sh35,000 to Sh45,000,
Gardeners: Sh31,000 to Sh45,000.
Requirements for riders include a valid rider’s or driver’s license.
The age limit is 38 years.
Gardeners must be 40 years old or younger.
According to Mutua, all applicants must have a valid passport or proof of application.
“Good grooming and a professional appearance are required. No academic certificates are needed.
NTSA will be present to issue licenses. Interviews will run from 8 AM to 5 PM.
In Malindi, interviews will take place on Monday, May 26, at Butwani Waterfront Park, Silversand.
In Kilifi, they will be held on Tuesday, May 27, at Karisa Maitha Stadium.
In Mombasa, the exercise will be on Wednesday, May 28, at Mama Ngina Drive, Mombasa Island.
In Kwale, the team will be in Ukunda/Diani on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Diani Showground.
Youth Fund officials will offer on-site financial help for air tickets and medical reports.
NTSA will manage rider licensing, while DCI will process Certificates of Good Conduct.
