HONOLULU (KHON2) — Get to know Kai, a charming 2-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix, who is KHON2’s spotlight pet for this week’s Wags ‘n’ Whiskers!
Kai was taken to the Moʻiliʻili Hawaiian Humane Society location in April, following his former owner’s inability to give the dog the necessary care.
However, this bundle of joy is full of love and affection that will definitely capture your heart. He loves adventure and recently went on a field trip to the beach, where his adventure partner praised Kai’s excellent leash behavior.
Besides his fondness for the beach, Kai enjoys car rides and demonstrating his skills such as catching, sitting, and other tricks.
In the end, Kai is the ideal snuggle companion since he enjoys curling up on laps and receiving plenty of love.
Kai’s adoption charge is free, and he arrives with numerous items to assist him in adjusting to his new home, provided by the Reid Krucky Memorial Fund.
Those considering adopting a pet have the opportunity to meet Kai at the Moʻiliʻili campus every day of the week, between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
