Man treated for neck wound after stabbing at Sydney shopping centre

A manhunt has been launched after a 23-year-old man was stabbed in the neck inside a shopping centre in
Sydney
‘in the eastern suburbs this morning.

Emergency responders were dispatched to Pacific Square on Anzac Parade in Maroubra around 11:30 am today, where they discovered a young man who had sustained an injury on the back of his neck.

The man was treated by paramedics and taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a stable condition.

The police have established a crime scene in the vicinity.

The NSW Police are searching for a male individual who is reported to be approximately 180cm tall and has an appearance consistent with someone of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent.
