Man Hospitalized Following Lynchburg Shooting

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ) – A man was hospitalized after a shooting Friday, June 13, according to Lynchburg Police.

Lynchburg Police responded at 10:56 p.m. to reports of shots fired on the 1600 block of 12th Street. Police say multiple shots were fired from one vehicle into another, and a man was grazed by a bullet.

The injured man was taken to Lynchburg General Hospital, where he was treated and released.

Police believe this was a targeted incident, and there is no known threat to the community.

No arrests have been made.
