Main Line Animal Rescue’s Pawsitive Happy Hour Sparks Adoption Success

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The Pennsylvania SPCA’s Main Line Animal RescueThe MLAR is welcoming pet enthusiasts to its Chester Springs campus this Thursday for a Happy Hour Meet & Greet, designed to promote community involvement and pet adoptions in a casual, family-oriented atmosphere.

The gathering, set for July 24 between 6 and 8 p.m., will include local craft beers from Well Crafted Beer Co., food items, and a chance to connect with animals available for adoption. Visitors are invited to bring their own leashed, well-mannered dogs to the 60-acre sanctuary for a night of mingling with other animal enthusiasts and MLAR graduates.

The event also signifies the beginning of the rescue’s “Double the Love, Half the Fee” kitten adoption initiative. Over a dozen kittens are currently up for adoption, and the campaign enables families to adopt two kittens together, with the second adoption fee reduced by 50%. The promotion is valid until Sunday, July 27, or until all kittens find their forever homes.

Those attending will have the opportunity to meet animals available for adoption and reconnect with members of the local animal rescue community. The gathering is open to everyone and encourages participation from people of all age groups.

Organizers state that the program demonstrates MLAR’s continued commitment to boosting adoption numbers while fostering an inclusive, community-oriented environment. All funds raised and involvement contribute to the Pennsylvania SPCA’s larger mission of rescuing and providing care for animals in need.
