has removed a well-known protein bar from stores due to allergy worries.
The supermarket has issued a recall for theirCookies & Cream Protein Bars produced by Healthy Fit, spanning various regions.

A warning released by the Food Standards Agency indicates that these products include milk and soy, ingredients that are not declared in English on the packaging.
It states: ‘This indicates that the product may be a potential
health
Risk for individuals who have an allergy or intolerance to milk or its components and/or an allergy to soy.
Healthy Fit is conducting a recall for their 60g Cookies & Cream Protein Bars. The specific items have a batch code of 002851 and a best before date set for January 2026.
Notices will also be posted in Lidl stores informing customers about the recall and detailing the steps to take if they have purchased the items.
The FSA states: ‘Should you have purchased this item and suffer from allergies or intolerances related to milk or its components, as well as those allergic to soy, refrain from consuming it.’
‘Rather, take it back to the shop where you purchased it for a complete refund (whether or not you have the receipt).’
Other supermarkets have been impacted by recalls in recent weeks as well.
