Saturday PUNCH
indicated that the unclaimed licenses had been completely processed and are now available for pickup.

He characterized the situation as concerning and encouraged all drivers who have finished the required fingerprinting and paperwork to promptly head to their designated pickup locations.

The representative mentioned that the organization will keep informing applicants via multiple communication methods such as SMS, encouraging them to verify their status at nearby FRSC centers to collect their licenses.

He mentioned that they would step up efforts to enforce penalties for driving without a valid license within the nation.

Ogungbemide stated, “The agency will keep educating those who have not complied via different media platforms about visiting their centers to verify their licenses. Furthermore, numerous messages have already been dispatched to them via text.”

There will also be stricter enforcement of the rule requiring a driver’s license for all drivers.

The spokesman cautioned that failing to obtain validated licenses usually leads to drivers operating vehicles with outdated provisional documents, thereby committing an infraction under traffic laws.

He mentioned that the organization was dedicated to eliminating the backlog and enhancing the efficiency of the driver’s license procedure.
