A woman from Kenya has shown surprise upon getting a text message from her old high school instructor.
A young woman, who goes by the username Miss Ivy Bee on TikTok, posted a screenshot of her chat with an educator, prompting varied responses from online users.
Ivy mentioned that she was reviewing her private messages on the short-video mobile app when she found the messages from the former teacher.
“POV: You check your DMs and discover your high school teacher. Aaaah abeg,” she wrote in the video’s caption.
In the messages, the teacher—who instructed her at Keveye Girls’ High School in Vihiga county—initially contacted her on June 11, requesting her to organize an activity with him.
A few days later, he sent a message following Ivy’s failure to reply to the initial text.
Nevertheless, this time, the young woman replied—only for him to send a lengthy message questioning why she didn’t want to speak with him.
“Since you left Keveye, are you not willing to speak with us anymore? Or is something else going on? Please send me your phone number,” his message said.
Shocked by the message, Ivy posted the screenshot on her online platform, generating broad responses, particularly from Keveye Girls’ former students attempting to figure out the teacher’s identity.
