Famous rock musician Jimmy Barnes is
no novice when it comes to laying everything bare in his writings
, and his latest book will follow suit as he delves into the life and unfortunate demise of his deceased sister.
His older sister Linda
died in 2022
Shortly thereafter, Jimmy’s brother John Swan disclosed that she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
The lead singer of Cold Chisel is currently penning a “horror” book centered around an event from his sister’s youth.
“It’s a horror story, yet it stems from my own experiences,” he shared with the audience.

My sister Linda, who unfortunately passed away a few years back at the age of 13, claimed she was possessed, and I was present in the room during this time.
He later remembered the tale of his sister messing around with some buddies using a Ouija board.
His sister subsequently “charged at the wall and slammed her head and face against it,” and after getting back up, she collided with another wall. Jimmy also mentioned that their mother rushed in and restrained her.
“And she was saying strange things that didn’t even seem like something she would say,” he clarified.
Following that, he mentioned that the family contacted physicians and spiritual advisors, and his sister remained “distressed” up till her demise.
When this was published, there had been no official announcement regarding the title or release date of the novel.
It will adhere to his book.

After Linda’s passing, Jimmy posted an old childhood picture of the two of them on social media.
“I recall being young and having my older sister watch over me. I love you, Linda,” he penned. Several days afterward, he expressed gratitude to his supporters for their heartfelt messages and sympathies.
John similarly posted a moving tribute at that moment.
“I am deeply saddened to inform you that my dear sister Linda left us today morning. She put up an incredible fight,” he shared on Facebook.
